Flash Turbo Signerv4.2 · Windows Desktop
How it works

Three steps. No accounts, no configuration.

Flash Turbo Signer talks straight to the PKCS#11 driver installed by your token vendor. There is no intermediate service, no API key, and no document round-trip — the cryptographic signature is computed on the token itself, and the document never leaves the machine.

Plug in and pick the PDF

Insert your DSC USB token and open a document. The app auto-detects the token brand and its PKCS#11 library, then lists the signing certificates stored on it. Multiple tokens? Pick the one you want.

Place the stamp

Drag the signature box anywhere on any page, or let text anchors and smart placement find the right spot automatically. Choose one of six stamp styles and which details to show — name, organisation, date, reason and location.

Enter PIN and sign

Your PIN goes only to the token driver. The signature is embedded with an incremental save — the original content is never rewritten — and the signed file is written next to your input as *_signed.pdf.

What “incremental save” means for you

The signature is appended to the file. The bytes you already had are not rewritten, so the document can be signed again by someone else without invalidating the earlier signature — and you always keep the unsigned original as a separate file.

  • Your source PDF is never overwritten
  • Signed output is written alongside it as *_signed.pdf
  • Verification reports whether the signature covers the whole document
  • Any change made after signing is flagged as tampering

The difference

The routine changes, not the cryptography.

Both paths produce a valid DSC signature. One of them costs the same five-minute ritual on every single document.

Before: the usual DSC routine

  • Install the token vendor's utility and its driver on the machine (only the first time)
  • Hunt for the right certificate when the token carries several
  • Sign in a portal that uploads your documents to a server
  • Retype reason and location on every single file
  • Re-download, rename, and hope the stamp landed on the right page
  • Explain to auditors afterwards who signed what, and when

After: Flash Turbo Signer

  • Insert the token — brand and certificate are detected for you
  • Nothing leaves the machine; signing happens on the token
  • Reason, location and stamp are remembered as presets
  • Drag the stamp once; placement is exact and repeatable
  • The built-in Verify tab answers the auditor on the spot

One thing to know before you start: your token's own PKCS#11 driver must already be installed, exactly as your DSC provider supplied it — that is the same driver you use when you sign in a browser or in Adobe. If signing with the token already works somewhere on this machine, it will work here too. The compatibility page lists the libraries that are detected automatically.

After signing

Prove it — on the spot, or months later.

Verification is built in, so an auditor's question can be answered without opening a ticket or uploading the file anywhere.

Inside the app

The Verify tab reports whether the signature covers the whole document, whether the file changed after signing, and which certificate signed it — including issuer and expiry.

In Adobe Acrobat Reader

Open the signed PDF in any standard reader and check the signature panel. Adobe validates the signature when it trusts the signer's chain; Indian chains are normally trusted already.

Offline chain validation

Chains are validated against the trust store bundled with the application — 30 certificates, 28 of them Indian roots and sub-CAs — so validation works with the network cable unplugged.

If Adobe says “Signature Not Verified”, that is usually a trust problem, not a broken signature. Install your DSC provider's root certificate into the Windows Certificate Store, or check the signature panel rather than the banner — some older readers do not support PAdES at all. The full answer is in the FAQ.
